Strapped with an acoustic guitar, or behind a piano, Alexis Babini combines unique and expressive vocals with an engaging, lighthearted charm, resulting in hook-filled, folk-rock songs that elicit smiles, foot-tapping, and call-and-response sing-alongs from his devoted fans at live shows from Vegas to Nashville to Singapore.  Love and heartbreak are the main recurring themes in Babini’s songs, but his lyrics also speak to self-discovery, hopeless confusion, and the age old archetype of “the bigger the struggle, the greater the triumph.”  With delicate arrangements and beautiful orchestration, Alexis showcases his honest, “powerful, gripping melodies and simple yet evocative lyrics” with a seemingly endless supply of youthful energy and optimism.

Earning comparisons to James Taylor, David Gray, and Joshua Radin, his influences range from classic acts like the Beatles and Tom Petty to current industry best-selling artists The Script and Sara Bareilles. Alexis Babini has toured the country from NYC to LA, sharing the stage with notable acts such as Blues Traveler, Howie Day, Boz Scaggs, The Verve Pipe, Ryan Cabrera, Tony Lucca (Finalist on NBC’s ‘The Voice’), Sister Hazel, Aaron Carter and The Click Five. With an ever-growing catalogue of hook-filled, ready-for-radio songs with catchy choruses, Alexis has been garnering a tremendous amount of buzz as well as licensing opportunities, with placements in shows like ‘Audrina’, ‘Teen Mom’, ‘The Real World’, ‘I Used to Be Fat’, and on Xbox Live.

After releasing two EPs, 2008’s ‘Breaking It In’ and 2010’s ‘Paint & Paper’, Alexis Babini’s eagerly-anticipated full-length album ‘The Pioneer Spirit‘, debuted on March 5th 2013. With delicate arrangements and beautiful orchestration, the album climbed to #50 on the iTunes top 100 Singer/Songwriter chart. “The Pioneer Spirit draws upon the theme of adventure.” Babini explains, “This is the exploration of the world all around you and also the world you maintain within yourself. My lyrics speak to self-discovery, love, heartbreak, hopeless confusion, and the age old archetype of ‘the greater the struggle, the greater the triumph.

Alexis continues to write, tour, and record, continually setting the bar higher for his works. “Catchy is always the first thing that people notice about my music,” admits Babini. “However, I want my next release to grow upon this, so less ‘Your song is really catchy’ and more ‘Your song just gave me goose bumps.’  I love meeting new people and there is no better way to do that than sharing personal experiences in the form of song.”
